Did you know Matt McKay was a two-time Gary Wilkins Medal Winner, and made his debut for the Roar in its first ever Hyundai A-League fixture on August 28, 2005.

The inspirational midfielder famously lifted the Roar’s first Hyundai A-League Championship as Club Captain in 2011 before being an integral part of the Roar’s Championship & Premiership winning season in 2013-14.

He currently sits fourth on the Club’s all-time goal scoring charts with 26 goals to his name.
