Everything is A OK at Suncorp Stadium!

Craving some music from Suncorp Stadium?

While the COVID-19 situation has caused some matches to be postponed, Brisbane-based band Violent Soho grabbed the opportunity to play their music in front of the iconic arena.

With no spectators - other than our one and only Grounds Manager, Mal - the new Violent Soho album Everything is A-OK was played to an empty house on a spectacular looking field.

When asked why the group wanted to film at Suncorp, they said:
 

"It’s hard to put into words the value that a space like Suncorp Stadium brings to everyday lives of Queenslanders. The venue is massively important to people up here. State Of Origin glory and memories of Eight In A Row are central to our identity and Lang Park has for generations existed as a sacred place to which we could always escape no matter what‘s going on. Although mass public access has been temporarily suspended we thought it was important to find some sort of appropriation of the space in honour of our regular weekly tradition and to allow ourselves to still hold on to that beautiful feeling. What better place is there for some good tunes to be blasted out from?"
