Bring on more CONCERTS at Suncorp Stadium!

Suncorp Stadium General Manager Alan Graham is delighted by the news announced by the Hon. Stirling Hinchliffe this morning to increase the number of concerts that can be held each year at the Stadium for the next two years.

“The news is a real boost for the entertainment industry which has essentially been forced into hibernation by COVID over the past 3 years” he said.

Mr Graham thanked the local community for their support and cooperation without which there was no way the Government could have contemplated the increase in the number of concerts.

“We have always shown the utmost respect to the local community in our management of the Stadium and in particular, around concerts and we will continue to do so in the future.”

This increase reinforces Suncorp Stadium as Queensland’s premier concert venue and will ensure that the community will not miss out on future opportunities to host world-class acts.

The announcement follows a successful Guns N’ Roses concert held at the Stadium last week and before a host of upcoming shows over the summer including Elton John, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Ed Sheeran.
