Is Latrell the X Factor?

I reckon Latrell Mitchell will be the key to Friday night’s Broncos-Rabbitohs clash at Suncorp Stadium. Mitchell was briefly touted as the best player in the world early last year but he looked a lot short of that in the Bunnies’ round one win over the Sharks. The sight of Wayne Bennett sending out the hook and dragging him onto the bench after just 55 minutes was hardly what Souths fans would have been hoping for from their number one signing. Bennett says he is taking a long-term approach to Mitchell’s move to fullback and Broncos coach Anthony Seibold will be hoping it is at least one more week before he finds his feet. Mitchell can be a match winner, there’s no denying that, but I reckon if he plays against the Broncos like he did against Cronulla, Seibold will finally get his first-ever win against a Bennett-coached side.
