January & February
Kicking Off with Excitement
The year kicked off with more of the Brisbane Roar season, music lovers were treated to two sensational Luke Combs concerts and the Reds season officially got underway!
March & April
Challenges and Triumphs
The NRL season began with the challenge of Cyclone Aldred, causing the postponement of our first game at Suncorp Stadium. But rugby league eventually was back with two Queensland Derbies in March and many more matches in April with our home teams the Brisbane Broncos and Dolphins. The Roar finished their fixtures for the year, whilst music fans were thrilled by the announcement of Lady Gaga’s highly anticipated ‘The Mayhem Ball’ tour arriving at Suncorp Stadium in December 2025.
May & June
Celebrations and Historic Events
May brought a series of major events — including Game 1 of the Women’s State of Origin, our annual Magic Round, and the kick-off of the 2025 State of Origin series—further cementing the stadium’s status as the home of Australian rugby league. The Wallaroos’ victory over Canada showcased our women’s team’s talent, whilst the unveiling of our new Queenslander tribute celebrated our sporting heritage. Along with a bunch of epic NRL clashes, June saw the stadium’s historic double game day, where fans witnessed back-to-back Broncos and Dolphins matches. The month wrapped up with the announcement of two ACDC concerts, promising electrifying nights of rock and roll.
July
July kicked off with the first of two visits from the British & Irish Lions in a much anticipated game against the Queensland Reds which left fans looking forward to the Wallabies taking on the British & Irish Lions in the coming weeks on Saturday 19th July.
Additionally, this month the stadium community will bid farewell to Suncorp Stadium General Manager Alan Graham, who retires this month after 20+ years of incredible service, leaving a lasting legacy at the venue.
