11 years of the 42 for 42 Challenge at Suncorp!
This year we welcome the 42 or 42 into Suncorp Stadium for their 11th Annual 42-Hour Challenge from Thursday 1 till Saturday 3 October.
The 42 for 42 was founded by combat veterans dedicated to supporting the families of fallen Afghanistan veterans as well as those who have returned from active duty in Afghanistan, and their families.
The 42-Hour Challenge is where the journey of 42 for 42 began. It is the heartbeat of the organisation and the foundation upon which the Afghanistan War Memorial Garden was created.
For 42 hours, participants will walk around the Suncorp Stadium concourse carrying weighted packs in honour and recognising those we lost and the service, sacrifice and impact carried by everyone who served.
Since building the The Afghanistan War Memorial Garden, the organisation is committed to maintaining the garden an providing ongoing support for veterans and their families.
