8th Annual 42 Hour Challenge

Community Group the 42 for 42 will today embark on their 8th 42 Hour Challenge at Suncorp Stadium.

The challenge takes place inside the Stadium starting at 5pm with a 42 hour non-stop walk around the concourse. Walkers and teams will continuously travel around the internal walkway with a weight in their packs to commemorate those fallen Afghanistan veterans.

This is the 8th year the group will take on the 42 Hour Challenge after first starting back in 2016 with 42 for 42 President Sean Mulqueen undertaking the challenge himself.

The 42 for 42 is a veteran initiated community group for those affected by the war in Afghanistan. The team at 42 for 42 are dedicated to supporting the families of fallen Afghanistan veterans as well as those who have returned from active duty in Afghanistan, and their families.
