Brisbane Roar Event Transportation Guide

Public transport is the best way to get to and from Suncorp Stadium and is included FREE* with your ticket on all Queensland Rail City Network (excluding Airtrain) and all Transport for Brisbane bus services. Simply present your game day ticket to rail and bus staff as you board their services.

Special Event Shuttles will operate from Brisbane City ONLY. 

They will commence two (2) hours prior to the event Kick Off time.

Shuttles will depart from the following stops on Ann Street prior to the game to Suncorp Stadium, and return from Suncorp Stadium to the same stops after the event. 

Depart from Ann Street Stops in Brisbane City:

Ann Street Stop 7

• Located on Ann Street at Anzac Square, opposite Central Station.

Ann Street Stop 12

• Located on Ann Street above King George Square Bus Station, in front of City Hall.

Patrons can catch regular bus services to King George Square Bus Station and transfer to City Shuttles departing from Ann Street Stop 12 at City Hall. Brisbane City Council Staff will be at the Brisbane City exchange at King George Busway Station to assist patrons with directional advice. 

Chermside Patrons

To the event:

• Catch Bus 333 from Chermside Bus Station (every 15 mins) to King George Square Bus Station
• Transfer to City Shuttle at Ann Street Stop 12 to Suncorp Stadium
• Alternatively, get off at Roma Street Bus Station and walk to Suncorp Stadium

From the event:

• Shuttle from Suncorp Stadium bus station to Ann Street Stop 12
• Transfer to Bus 333 at King George Square Bus Station (every 15 mins) to Chermside
• Or walk to Roma Street Bus Station and catch Bus 333 to Chermside

Carindale Patrons

To the event:

• Catch Bus 222 from Carindale Shopping Centre Interchange (every 15 mins) to King George Square Bus Station
• Transfer to City Shuttle at Ann Street Stop 12 to Suncorp Stadium
• Or, disembark at Roma Street Bus Station and walk to Suncorp Stadium

From the event:

• Shuttle from Suncorp Stadium bus station to Ann Street Stop 12
• Transfer to Bus 222 at King George Square Bus Station (every 15 mins) to Carindale
• Or walk to Roma Street Bus Station and catch Bus 222 to Carindale

Eight Mile Plains / Garden City Patrons

To the event:

• Catch Bus M1 from Eight Miles Plains Station (every 15 mins) to King George Square Bus Station
• Transfer to City Shuttle at Ann Street Stop 12 to Suncorp Stadium
• Or, get off at Roma Street Bus Station and walk to Suncorp Stadium

From the event:

• Shuttle from Suncorp Stadium bus station to Ann Street Stop 12
• Transfer to Bus M1 at King George Square Bus Station (every 15 mins) to Eight Miles Plains
• Or walk to Roma Street Bus Station and catch Bus M1 to Eight Miles Plains

The Gap Patrons

To the event:

• Catch Bus 385 from The Gap Park ‘n’ Ride (every 15 mins) to Stop 5 at Given Terrace
• Short walk to Suncorp Stadium

From the event:

• Short walk from Suncorp Stadium to Stop 5 at Given Terrace
• Catch Bus 385 back to The Gap Park ‘n’ Ride

Approximate time: 10-15 mins

1. Exit Roma Street Station onto Roma Street.
2. Head west along Roma Street toward Caxton Street.
3. Turn right onto Caxton Street, passing restaurants and pubs.
4. Suncorp Stadium will be on your left at 40 Castlemaine Street, Milton.

All Transport for Brisbane bus services are accessible, as is the exchange in Brisbane City onto Suncorp Stadium Shuttles. 

Suncorp Stadium offers two accessible drop-off  and pick-up points for maxi-taxis and cars carrying people with a disability. These are located at the northern end of the venue on Caxton Street, next to the LED sign, and on Castlemaine Street near Chippendall Street.
