Over the holiday season, Suncorp Stadium once again opened its doors to host the Annual Christmas Day Lunch for the Homeless, Disadvantaged, and Lonely. Now in its 7th year, the event welcomed 200 guests from our local community to enjoy a spectacular three-course meal.
Organised in partnership with The O’Brien Group Australia and Communify, the event has become a cherished tradition. Guests were entertained by the vibrant energy of radio personality David ‘Luttsy’ Lutteral, who returned as MC to spread festive cheer alongside live music from Michael Barber.
Queensland O’Brien Executive Chef Bevan Campbell and his team outdid themselves yet again, serving up a memorable feast featuring Mooloolaba King prawns generously donated by the wonderful team at Clayfield Seafood Market. Suncorp Stadium General Manager Alan Graham also led the charge, coordinating efforts with a team of incredible staff and volunteers. The Christmas spirit continued after lunch with guests receiving gift hampers filled with essential items and toys for the kids.
