This National Recycling Week (10-16 November 2025), we’re shining a spotlight on the behind-the-scenes team who help keep Suncorp Stadium looking its best, and help us minimise our environmental footprint along the way.
Our Venue Presentation team, with support from the Stadium's waste management provider, has recycled 750 kilograms of coreflute signage from the 2025 events. Coreflute is a durable plastic material widely used for event and directional signage, and by diverting it from landfill, we’re reducing waste and giving old materials a new life.
This project is one of many ongoing efforts across the Stadium to reduce waste, reuse resources, and continually improve our sustainability practices. From major event days to routine maintenance, our teams are committed to delivering a world-class venue experience while caring for the environment we operate in.
