Celebrating our Staff Milestones

Tuesday night Suncorp Stadium hosted its Annual Staff Recognition Night.

These nights celebrate the people which make our company great who have reached 5, 10, 15 year milestones from the Ushers to our Cleaners, our Grounds Staff, Security and Management.

This year was particularly special as the venue welcomed the first group of staff members to reach 20 years of service. It was incredible to see 19 team members acknowledged for having served the company since Suncorp Stadium has been open. Some even recounted wearing hardhats during their training at the venue while it was still a construction back in 2003!

52 staff members in total were recognised on the night with Rugby League Legend Wally Lewis presenting the awards to the team with APAC Chairman and Chief Executive Harvey Lister in attendance.

Hayley Burridge and John Hinks were also both acknowledged on the night for their efforts throughout 2023 winning the Lewis Miles Medal for Best Individual Staff Member and Team Harmony awards respectively.
