Today, the Queensland Government announced that Queensland has secured 14 games during the Men's Rugby World Cup Australia 2027.
This includes 10 games in Brisbane/Meeanjin and 4 in Townsville/Gurambilbarra.
Brisbane Stadium:
- 6 x pool matches
- 2 x round-of-16 matches
- 2 x quarter finals
North Queensland Stadium:
- 4 x pool matches
For six weeks from 1 October-13 November, 2027, Australia will welcome the world to a nationwide festival of rugby, celebrating its rich culture and heritage, and kicking off a new era of rugby that will have a positive impact for Australia, Oceania and the game globally.
Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 in Australia will be the first edition to feature 24 teams in an exciting, expanded format.
