The largest attendance for a football match hosted at Suncorp Stadium and in Queensland!
The Queensland Football Series match between the CommBank Socceroos v Brazil held at Suncorp Stadium on Tuesday 29 September 2026 has made history for achieving the largest crowd attendance at a football event in a Queensland and at Suncorp Stadium.
The international football friendly match has taken over the previous record by 1,270 people, with a huge 52,423 people in attendance on Tuesday night as Brazil and Socceroos fans packed the stands.
The previous record attendance for a football match in Queensland was set during the 2014 A-League Grand Final played between Brisbane Roar vs. Western Sydney Wanderers at Suncorp Stadium on 4 May 2014 with 51,153 fans in attendance.
