The Real and Diverse Ensemble (RAD), supported by Centrecare, will again be a beneficiary of this year's Suncorp Stadium Annual Charity Golf Day.
Last year the Stadium donated $50,000 to RAD from the proceeds of the Charity Golf Day with another $50,000 going to long time partner Hear and Say.
And this year the RAD Ensemble are back again with another performance at QPAC from October 9-11.
The Tea Lady Factor is a science fiction spectacular inspired by the iconic neo-expressionist film Metropolis.
Set in a dystopian robot factory in Geebung, this futuristic fable explores the clash between raw human emotion and the cold logic of machines. At its heart lies a tale of greed, rebellion, and one magical cup of tea that just might change everything.
Since 2019, RAD has captivated QPAC audiences with their signature blend of ensemble storytelling, absurd humour, heartfelt emotion, and playful theatricality. The Tea Lady Factor marks their fifth production at QPAC and promises to be their most ambitious yet. A compelling vision of tomorrow, this show challenges us to confront the risks of our technological future – with wit, wonder, and a uniquely Queensland spirit.
Experience Queensland theatre at its boldest and best.
Tickets are on sale now for the show.
The Suncorp Stadium Annual Charity Golf Day has been running since 2010 with almost $700,000 being donated to the venue's beneficiaries in that time.
