NRL Caxton Street Closure
| Closed from | 10:00 AM Thursday 14 May |
| Reopen from | 3:00 AM Monday 18 May |
The NRL has once again gained Brisbane City Council approval to expand the Magic Round event footprint onto a section of Caxton Street.
To accommodate this there will be a road closure in place from 10.00 AM Thursday 14 May until 3.00 AM Monday 18 May on Caxton Street, between Petrie Terrace and Hale Street.
This Caxton Street closure is separate and in addition to the Stadium’s Traffic Management Plan which will be in place for all Magic Round event days.
The road closure has been structured in a way to minimise the impact on local residents and businesses. Other than the standard closures implemented by Queensland Police for the safe movement of pedestrians in peak times around the event, residents in the streets around Caxton Street will still have access to their properties throughout the three days. Should local residents have any issue accessing their property, staff can provide direction at the closure points.
NRL Contact Information
The NRL will have a hotline to field enquiries about the road closure operating during business hours in the lead up to the event on (02) 9359 8500. Alternatively you can provide feedback regarding the Caxton Street Road Closure to feedback@nrl.com.au.
