Some of the biggest moments in sport and entertainment have occurred right here, at Suncorp Stadium due to the passionate support given by Queensland fans.

However, with high levels of passion on display, its important fans understand how to support their teams or performers in the right way while being mindful that we are a family-friendly venue.

While we want to see passionate fans, anti-social behaviour is never welcome at Suncorp Stadium.

What is anti-social behaviour?

Anti-social behaviour is anything that makes other fans, staff, players or performers feel uncomfortable.

Anti-social behaviour can include things like:

  • Swearing or offensive language;
  • Physical or verbal abuse of others - including fighting or discriminating remarks; or
  • Behaving in a threatening or intimidating manner

Remember, we have a wide range of fans at the Stadium and something you may not see as offensive with your mates, may offend others or impact other types of patrons.

What does the Stadium do to deter bad behaviour?

We have many measures in place to help maintain a family-friendly atmosphere and a certain level of patron behaviour.

This includes but aren’t limited to actions like:

  • Visible roving Police & security teams inside and outside the venue;
  • Coordinated and frequent, visible staff aisle patrols throughout the event;
  • Covert security observing and reporting on anti-social behaviour; and
  • Proactive messaging to fans to help remind about correct behaviour

In addition to this, we have our SMS SunSecure text system which allows fans to discreetly alert us to any anti-social behaviour without leaving their seats.

Our staff are also always approachable if you need to report anything directly to them.

Let’s bring the passion to Suncorp Stadium while also being mindful of other patrons, making sure you visit with respect.
