George Lovejoy

George Lovejoy is best known for coining the phrase still used today: "Rugby League - the greatest game of all." He began his radio career at 4BH in 1949 and began calling football the following year. For the following 19 years he never missed a game calling 652 League matches in a row without a co-commentator.
