Gerry Collins

After commencing his working life as a teacher, Gerry Collins joined the ABC and moved to Brisbane in 1987 as their chief Rugby League caller until retiring in 2010. Gerry called NRL, Queensland Cup, Queensland Rugby, Wallabies Tests and football games played at Suncorp Stadium and was also the ABC's swimming commentator at 6 Olympics and 7 Commonwealth Games.

Inducted on March 5 2014 by the Hon. Steve Dickson, Minister for Sport.
