Wayne Heming

Wayne Heming was a sports journalist for Australian Associated Press for 42 years and another 3 years for Australian Provincial News before retiring appropriately after the 2016 National Rugby National Rugby League Grand Final. As AAP's chief Queensland Rugby League writer, Wayne covered State of Origin, Tests, National Rugby League, New South Wales Rugby League, Brisbane Rugby League and Queensland Rugby League games in his favoured corner of the Stadium press box.
